SRINAGAR: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Jammu has provisionally attached two hotels valued at approximately Rs 15 crore in Patnitop as part of an ongoing money laundering investigation.
A spokesperson confirmed the attachment under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002.
“ED, Jammu has provisionally attached Hotel Trinetra Resorts and Hotel Green Orchid, both located in Patnitop (J&K), worth Rs 14.93 crore (approx.), in connection with the Patnitop Development Authority (PDA) case under the PMLA, 2002,” the statement reads.
Further details regarding the case are awaited, as investigations continue. (KNO)
