Taking its branch network to 125, Ellaquai Dehati Bank on Monday opened its one more Business Unit at Kulgam,
Chief Guest M.Y.Zarger, Additional District Development Commissioner, who was chief guest inaugurated the branch which is on line in presence of bank’s chairman A.K.Razdan.
Speaking on the occasion, Zargar appreciated Ellaquai Dehati Bank’s role in reaching to the poorest of poor in the far flung areas.
In his welcome address, chairman EDB said, “ bank is actively contributing in socio economic development of the state”.
He said that banks CD ratio in Kulgam district is 130 per cent and major portion it is invested in agriculture sector.
He stressed upon the people to take full advantage of loan products designed by the bank for the people living in the rural areas and especially for traders and farmer
