SRINAGAR: Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar has greeted the Muslims on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr and announced that Eid prayers will be offered at the Jama Masjid at 09:30 am, while Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, will deliver the Eid sermon at 08:30 am.

“It has requested to Muslims to ensure their participation in the Eid prayers and to bring their prayer mats along in case they arrive late,” the Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the Auqaf has reiterated that this year the Zakat-ul-Fitr amount has been fixed at a minimum of Rs.70 rupees per person, which is obligatory to be paid before the Eid prayer.
