The Train services across Kashmir have been suspended on Monday, in view of the “Eidgah Chalo” call given by Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) to commemorate the death anniversaries of Mirwaiz Maulana Muhammad Farooq and Abdul Gani Lone.

“We have again suspended train service in the Kashmir valley following a fresh directive from police,” a senior railway official said.

The official added that all trains between Budgam-Srinagar-Islamabad-Qazigund in south Kashmir and Banihal in Jammu region will remain suspended.

Similarly, trains will not chug on Srinagar-Budgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir, he added.
