Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) president Abdul Qayoom Wani has joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in presence of the party president Mehbooba Mufti in Jammu on Saturday.
PDP President Mehbooba Mufti said that Qayoom Wani will contest upcoming Parliament election as from Baramulla.
Wani had sought volunteer retirement from the government services and resigned from the basic membership of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), Teachers Joint Action Committee (TJAC) and Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC)
PDP patron Muzaffar Baig and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
