After days of widespread rain and snowfall, weather across Jammu and Kashmir improved on Saturday.

A Meteorological Department official said that the dry, cloudy weather is expected during next three to four days.

Srinagar, the summer capital of the state recorded a low of minus 0.4 while the mercury in Qazigund in south Kashmir settled at a low of minus 4.0 degrees Celsius.

The ski resort Gulmarg was at minus 10.5 and tourist destination Pahalgam was at minus 9.2.

Leh town in Ladakh was at minus 11.5 and Kargil minus 15.4, Drass was the coldest at minus 21.4.

Jammu city was at 6.5, Katra 5.0, Batote minus 2.5, Banihal minus 5.0 and Bhaderwah both recorded minus 4.0 degrees Celsius.
