SRINAGAR: The Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) has expressed deep concern over the self-immolation attempt by three casual laborers in Kokernag (Anantnag).
EJAC President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam has called on the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident and take strict action against those responsible according to the law, in order to prevent such incidents in the future.
The EJAC leadership strongly condemns such acts and demands an investigation into the reasons behind these unfortunate events that have led individuals to resort to suicide. Shabnam has urged the government to take necessary measures to ensure that employees can find relief and are not pushed to take such extreme steps.
Shabnam expressed hope that the matter will be fully investigated to restore confidence among employees.
