An aged person went missing in Karanagar area here on 19-08-2015 while five persons were injured in valley in different accidents, police statement said Wednesday evening.
Kanhaya Lal resident of Gumat Bazaar Jammu at present Doodh Ganga road Karanagar, Srinagar reported in Police Station Karanagar, Srinagar that his father Matta Ram son of Gowa went missing on 19-08-2015 from Doodh Ganga road near Shumshaan Boomi, Karanagar, Srinagar.
Police after lodging a missing report launched a manhunt to trace the missing person. The missing person is 76 years of age, height 5×3”. He is wearing black pants, light brown shirt, and whitish coat.

The statement said that in Islamabad, a Scorpio bearing registration number JK05E/2078 turned turtle at Pazalpora, Bijbehara resulting in injuries to two passengers. Both the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03E-1556 hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Ahsan Bhat resident of Dendweth, Kokernag at Dendweth. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
In another accident, an unknown motorcycle hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Akbar Dar resident of Khudhama at Khudhama, Dooru. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
In Srinagar, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK05B-8287 and an i10 car collided near Zampa Kadal, Karannagar, resulting in injuries to a person Omer Ali resident of Baghinand Singh Zampa Kadal who was boarding in the Maruti car. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Srinagar police has registered a case in this regard.
