Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and Member Parliament, Mehbooba Mufti Wednesday condemned the killing of a teacher Javaid Ahmad Khan at Khandaypora, Pulwama.
In a party statement, Mehbooba said violence in any form is unacceptable, and there is no place for innocent killings in a civilized society. “We have already suffered immensely because of the more than two decades long turmoil which has consumed an entire generation of youth leaving behind distressed widows and destitute,” she said and added that no religion allows such dastardly acts of violence which lead to spilling of innocent blood and bring enormous tragedies to the families of the victims.
Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families of the teacher, she prayed for the everlasting peace of the departed soul.
