An elderly pilgrim of Vaishno Devi died on Monday when he suffered a cardiac arrest in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district.
Reports said that a pilgrim identified as Parkash Bhai, a resident of Ahmedabad had come to visit the Vaishno Devi, but last night after paying obeisance at the shrine, he fell unconscious in a rented accommodation at Katra.
Soon after the pilgrim fell unconscious he was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
