SRINAGAR: A 75-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her home in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that the woman was rushed to SMHS hospital for treatment, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and have started an investigation into the matter.
