SRINAGAR: Train services in Kashmir have been resumed on Thursday after remaining suspended for at least seven weeks.

A senior railway official told Kashmir Life that train service connecting Kashmir with Banihal was resumed on Thursday morning in the valley.

He said that a train chugged between Budgam and Banihal only as per their existing timetable on Thursday morning. “The train will make only two trips on the stretch,” he added.

The train service from Budgam towards Baramulla shall remain suspended for now, said an official.
