Two of the three polling stations in Noorbagh area of Eidgah constituency were shutdown down after angry protesters attacked the premises from all sides.

According to reports, the designated polling stations were at government middle school Noorbagh, Wisdom school and Ismi Azam public school.

The protesters first marched to government middle school and attacked it, compelling staff and forces guarding to fled from the spot.

The next destination of protesters was Wisdom public school and it too was attacked, taking away even the window panes of the building. The staff and forces left the spot.
The last, locals say youth are targeting the Ismi Azam public school.

However district administration officials called Kashmir Life and said “nothing of this sort has happened.” A senior official further said, “we have sent out officers to the spot, everything is fine.”
