According to District Election Officer Srinagar, the general public has been informed that special summary revision of electoral rolls with reference to January 01, 2017 as qualifying date is being held in the district for which last date for enrolment has been fixed as November 30, 2016 (Wednesday)
The statement issued Saturday evening read, “all such persons of the district attaining the age of 18 years as on January 01, 2017 are eligible for inclusions as a voter in the electoral rolls. Besides, any existing electorate whose name or other particulars have not been correctly incorporated in the electoral rolls can apply for such inclusion, deletion, correction or modification in the electoral rolls before the Electoral Registration Officer, Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, or Booth Level Officer (BLO) upto November 30, 2016.”
