Associate Professor (Agronomy) at Faculty of Agriculture (SKUAST-K), Dr Ashaq Hussain has bagged best PhD thesis award 2013 from Indian Society of Agronomy.
Dr. Hussain has made research contributions in the field of rice and rapeseed agronomy under temperate conditions on the basis of which he has received recognition and accolades from SKUAST-K also. He has published more than 25 research articles, 5 book chapters, and presented about 15 papers in national and international seminars/symposia.
