SRINAGAR: Elon Musk-owned X suffered a major service disruption on Monday, with thousands of users worldwide reporting repeated outages.
According to Downdetector, interruptions in India peaked at around 3:30 pm, with nearly 2,200 reports, followed by another surge at 7:30 pm with 1,500 complaints. By 10:28 pm, over 1,100 issues were flagged, and 981 reports were recorded as late as 11:28 pm. Downdetector’s data showed intermittent recovery, but disruptions persisted throughout the evening.
The outage had a severe global impact, with the US and UK experiencing the most issues.
