SRINAGAR
An encounter is going on between the suspected militants and the forces at Dalvan, village in Charar-e-Sharief, Police sources said on Wednesday.
Police sources added that after an input about the presence of militants 55 RR, SOG Charar and Chadoora, cordoned off the village during which the hiding militants opened fire on the forces.
Forces said that the encounter was on when the reports last came in.
