SRINAGAR
An encounter broke out between the militants and government forces in Chatlora area of Rafiabad on Saturday morning.
Sources said that army and SOG Sopore had come to cordon off the area after they received input about the presence of militants.
“The militants opened fire on forces as they were busy in search operation resulting in an encounter,” they said.
At least two militants are holed and heavy exchange of firing was going on till the reports last came in.
