SRINAGAR
An encounter between suspected militants and forces broke out in Keller area in south Kashmir on Wednesday, sources said. Keller falls in the district Pulwama.
The initial reports said that suspected militants in the Yachguchan vallage of Keller fired upon a patrolling party of army before taking shelter somewhere in the village.
The forces immediately cordoned off the Yachguchan village and launched an operation against the hiding militants.
The firing in area was on when the reports last came in.
