An encounter between militants and counter insurgent forces started in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday morning.
Reports said that a joint team of Army and SOG launched a cordon and search operation in Pathanpora village after having credible inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected, the hiding militants fired upon forces triggering an encounter.
