On Wednesday, a start-up meet was held in Srinagar hotel in which young entrepreneurs participated to discuss the issues with experts to be raised on the three day start-up event which is expected to start later this month.

The experts had flown from outside Jammu and Kashmir to help Kashmiri entrepreneurs in their businesses.

The participants raised different issues and discussed with the experts who assured them of resolution through “collaborative efforts”.

To boost up the start-ups concepts like “crowd and seed” investing were suggested to be taken into consideration.

Some entrepreneurs suggested that over involvement of government in the business management and establishment creates hurdles in expanding as its involvement in regulatory aspects where chances of red tape increase.

The experts said that the interested parties will be made aware about the three day event through advertisements and word of mouth.
