SRINAGAR: Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters provide opportunities for students from around the world to pursue higher education across multiple universities in Europe and beyond.
These programmes, facilitated by collaborations between at least three institutions from different countries, encompass a range of academic activities such as studying, conducting research, and completing thesis requirements. Whether it’s delving into coursework or preparing for thesis defence, students benefit from a diverse and comprehensive educational experience.
To be eligible for these programmes, applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, or bachelor’s completion anticipated before the start of the master’s programme. Additionally, individuals demonstrating a comparable level of academic achievement may also apply, contingent upon recognition as per national regulations. Application periods typically run from October to January for programmes commencing in the subsequent academic year, with candidates submitting their applications directly to their chosen programme.
The scholarship covers travel, visa and a living allowance. The duration of the Masters is one – two years. The different fields of study under the EMJMD programme include agriculture and Veterinary, Engineering, Manufacture and Construction, Health and Welfare, Humanities and Arts, Science, Mathematics and Computing, Social Sciences, Business and Law.
From providing information on course contacts to organising events with national representatives, the association assists aspiring students throughout their application journey.
