Erratic weather would continue to throw surprises for the rest of this week even as a Western Disturbances are active over Kashmir Valley currently.

On Wednesday, moderate rainfall lashed parts of Kashmir valley afresh sending mercury down by several degrees.

Jhelum and some other tributaries rose swiftly even though Irrigation and Flood control department ruled out any chance of flood threat as of now.

“Erratic weather would persist this week,” Director MeT, Sonam Lotus told Kashmir Life. “This is also in part before of unstable weather.”

Lotus also said that there is very little chance of heavy rains. “There is no need to panic,” he said.
