As a goodwill gesture J&K Police organized a “retired police personnel meet” at Sopore.
Superintendent of Police, Sopore, Harmeet Singh while addressing the retired police personnel said that since they have long experience in the department, “they can work as a bridge with police and public”.
Some of the retired officials projected their demands and problems to which SP Sopore said that “their demands would be taken on priority up-to the district level”, JKP spokesperson said this evening.
Besides, he directed the field officers to look into the matters of retired police personnel on priority.
Among others SDPO Sopore Ashish Kumar Mishra, Dy SP Mushkoor Ahmad, Dy SP Sajad Sarwar and SHOs of Police Stations were present on the occasion, the spokesperson added.
