Army in J&K has arrested a former Territorial Army personnel, suspected to be helping shelling in Jammu and Kashmir.
Reports identified him as Liyaqat Hussain of 156 Territorial Army (TA). Hussain was disembodied from Army in year 2011, an army officer was quoted as having said.
“A company of Rashtriya Rifles deployed in Hamirpur apprehended an over ground worker yesterday and handed him over to Hamirpur Police Station,” a defence spokesperson added.
Army claimed to have recovered a wireless transmitter set. He is being subjected to thorough interrogation, the reports added.
Rival Pakistani and Indian army have been accusing each other of violating ceasefire violations on IB and LoC which claimed at least ten people in J&K.
