The State Board of School Education (BOSE) will conduct the examination for Class 10 Social Science subject as per schedule.
According to BOSE Chairman, Zahoor Ahmad Chatt, some complaints poured in on Saturday that the Class tenth (10th) students were given Science question paper, instead of the scheduled Social Science paper, which resulted in confusion.
Chatt said the discrepancy had probably started at the printing press in New Delhi where some envelopes marked ‘Science’ were filled with question papers of ‘Social Science’.
“We have decided to blacklist the contractor and new paper for Social Science will be set by the examination committee. The exam of Social Science paper will be conducted as per schedule,” he said. (KNS)
