A fresh incident of exchange of fire was reported from the Bhimber Gali Sector along the LoC in Rajouri district on Tuesday morning.
As per various media reports “the exchange of fire using small arms between Indian and Pakistani side started early morning today and is continuing intermittently.” No casualty has been reported so far.
On Monday a Border Security Force (BSF) personnel was injured in Samba sector, 300 km from Srinagar in LoC firing.
2013 has witnessed several fold increase in the exchange of fire which took place more than 130 times along the LoC – highest in past 8 years.
