Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Sunday told a visiting group of students from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, to explore beauty and hospitable nature of its residents.

According to her spokesman, Mehbooba advised the students “to utilize their stay in the Valley in exploring its beauty and the hospitable nature of its residents.

She asked them to visit various universities here and interact with their counterparts and also suggested the students to “visit the breathtaking Badam Vaeri which is full with blossoms of almonds, peach and cherry.”

Mehbooba told the visiting delegation “to come out of the gory images created by some television channels about Kashmir.”

She said “Kashmir is the safest place in the country for women to visit and asked the students to come here again with their families and friends.”

Prof. Tasneem Meenai, Dean Students Welfare, is accompanying the students group during its trip to the Valley.
