:Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Sunday said that complete boycott followed has once again sent a clear message to the world that Muslims of Jammu and Kashmir do not want to be a part of India.

“ Six percent voting is a clear cut message that we do not want to be part of India, no matter what the consequences are,” she said in a statement.

She said that today’s boycott is a statement that despite oppression and use of brute force by India, people of Kashmir will never accept the legitimacy of India in Kashmir. “Despite tremendous pressure by the government and it machinery, maximum polling booths were empty and those who cast their vote are the workers of these pro-India parties,” she said.

She said the blood was spilled across the Budgam district and six innocent youth were martyred. “The world must take notice of how India conducted this sham and farce election while showering bullets on innocent people,” she added.

She said that more than hundred person including children, girls and women received bullet and pellet injuries and many among them were critical. “In such a situation, the shameless puppets and their masters in New Delhi must understand they can’t hold us forcibly for long,” she added.

“World now knows that India is unwanted and unaccepted in Jammu and Kashmir,” she added.

She said that the pro-resistance people of South Kashmir should take a lesson from what people in Srinagar did on Sunday. “ If the voter turnout was six percent in Srinagar, in south Kashmir, where these polls are scheduled on April 12, there should be zero percent voting. The pro-resistance and brave people of south Kashmir will, for sure, set a new benchmark in this regard,” she said.
