At a time when lease agreement expired a month back and the locals demand an end to the further leasing of the Tosamaidan firing range to army, a littered explosive went off and killed a five year old girl and injured other two on Monday.
The incident happened in Drang area of Tosamaidan which is news since some months.
Reports said that the explosion took place at Paraypora locality in the area.
Local sources said that the explosion happened when the children were playing.
The fresh killing has brought further fares among the inhabitants of the area who are demanding end of the lease agreement.
Tosamaidan meadow is under army’s occupation since 1964 and is used as a firing range.
Firing of the army has left at least seventy civilians dead and disabled hundreds.
