Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) , an apex body of industries in Kashmir Tuesday held elections for its office bearers.
Having 68 votes to cast, Muhammad Ashraf Mir and Afaq Qadri were elected as president and senior vice president respectively on the basis of the consensus.
The other office bearers elected are; Muhammad Yousuf Mir as Vice President, Nazir Ahmad Kashkari as Secretary General, Bashir Ahmad Khan as joint secretary General, Makhmoor Gowhar as Secretary, Mehraj Ud Din Qureshi as Publicity Secretary and Altaf Ahmad Ahangar as secretary finance.
Industry chieftain and lobbyist Syed Shakeel Qalander while congratulating newly elected office bearer wished them success and assured them of all possible support.
He also said the margin by which other group has lost is not so huge.
