Panic gripped among the student community when the website of University Of Kashmir went offline and students were left with no option to complete their examination and other formalities.
As semester examination and admission formalities for few courses in the pipeline, the last date which is approaching has left students in dilemma.
When contacted the university officials, they assured that work of maintenance is going on and in next two days site will be again working properly.
“Both our servers are under maintenance. The data is secured and students need not to worry,” said Syed Khursheed while talking to Kashmir Life.
Rejecting the claims that server of University is crashed, University Registrar, Prof Zaffar Reshi said that there is just an hardware problem.
“It is just a hardware problem, no need to worry,” he said.
About the approaching last date for the applications and other formalities, the officials told Kashmir Life that the date has been extended subsequently by few days
