SRINAGAR
Department of Food, Civil Services and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) on Monday issued revised maximum retail price of poultry products within the municipal limits of Srinagar city.
The spokesman said according to a communique received by the FCS&CA department, price of Broiler (live) has been fixed at rupees 110 per kilogram and layer (live) and Parent per kilogram price have been fixed at Rupees 70 and Rupees 110 and 50 for eggs, respectively.
Meanwhile the enforcement conducted a market checking of various markets from December 1 to December 16 during which a fine of Rupees 52, 300 was realized from the defaulters.
During the market checking 420 business establishments across the Srinagar district and 112 erring traders were penalized for violation of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
