The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission on Monday announced the results of JK’s combined competitive services final examination result of batch 2014 in which a boy from  Surankote, Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak, secured the top position.

In the selection list no candidate from the Kashmir Valley fares in the list of top 10 and 70 percent of the total selected candidates are from Jammu division. Among others who made it to the list include Irtiza Jeelani of Illahi Bagh, Faizan Ali of Raj Bagh and Himayun Muzzammil of Humhama.

The preliminary examination for JKPSC was conducted on August 30, 2015 in which 12,145 candidates appeared in the examination.

 As per the criteria fixed by commission 1,275 candidates were declared to have qualified for the mains examination under notification no PSC/Exam -15/47on October 05 2015 in which 1258 candidates applied for appearing in the Mains examination.

Whereas JKPSC main examination 2014 was conducted from February 11, 2017, to February 27, 2017, both in Jammu and Srinagar.

The total number of aspirants appeared in the final examination was 175 candidates in which 51 have qualified for a final interview conducted on November 20 to December 06 of this year.
