To enhance efficiency and global competitiveness of J&K Sports and to expand opportunities both in domestic and foreign countries, J&K State Sports Council is all set to engage with FICCI as knowledge partner for drafting Sports Policy of the State and to create job opportunities in the State Jammu and Kashmir, a statement issued by the council said.
Director Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) Rajpal Singh said that their organization will help mapping of sports infrastructure through FICCI experts.
Secretary J&K State Sports Council apprised the team about the on-going Sports activities in the State and impressed on holding Sports activities, festivals, from all district headquarters and Panchayats of the State.
While commenting on the Global Sports Summit, that FICCI holds every year, he said that this time Jammu and Kashmir will be its State Partner, to promote Sports tourism in the State.
