Awami Itthihaad Party (AIP) has termed lodging of FIR into alleged copying scam involving son of Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed as a good step, though should have been taken much earlier .Party President Er Rashid in a Press statement has said that delay in lodging FIR speaks itself about the political pressure that crime branch had been facing since last two years.

“Chief Minister must explain that why it took two years to lodge the FIR ,when the report was submitted to him with in seven days after that scam had surfaced .Lodging of FIR though late and despite political pressures proves that crime branch couldn’t close the case as the evidences were concrete to confirm the involvement of minister’s son and board officials,” he said

He further said that Peerzada Mohammad Syeed should  step down immediately and if he doesn’t have moral courage to resign.

“Omar Abdullah must show some morality and seriousness to throw him out,” he added.

He alleged that neither Peerzada’s son is the first blue-eyed person to misuse the authority of his father nor will be the last as almost all political leaders and bureaucrats have inherited these qualities of misusing their authority and power at the cast of common masses.
