The “Communication Centre” of 21st battalion of Border Security Force (BSF) has caught fire in Trehgam area of Kupwara district, consuming the centre completely, reports said on Friday.
Speaking to Kashmir Life, SHO Trehgam Ashiq Hussain said, “The communication centre of BSF is inside the camp and fire-tenders are on job to douse the flames.”
The centre caught fire due to a short circuit, he said. However, no injuries have been reported in the incident.
