SRINAGAR: A hotel in the tourist resort Pahalgam in the southern region of Kashmir was damaged in a fire mishap on Saturday.
Quoting an official, KS reported that a massive fire broke out in a hotel in Nagbal area of Pahalgam, and in the mishap, the first floor of the hotel was damaged, including the two-room kitchen.
He said the fire was under control after hectic efforts of the fire service department, police, and locals. “14-room hotel belongs to Shakeel Ahmad Lone, son of Mohammad Ramzan Lone of Pahalgam.”
Meanwhile, a police officer said that the cause of the fire was not known immediately and police are verifying the reason behind the mishap.
