SRINAGAR: A motorcyclist died while two pillion riders were injured in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday.
News Agency Kashmir Scroll reported that the accident took place on Saidpora bypass Sopore when a bike ride hit an electric pool.
In the mishap, the bike rider and two other pillion riders were seriously injured and were immediately taken to the sub-district hospital in Sopore, where one of them succumbed to his injuries.
A doctor at SDH Sopore identified the deceased as Danish Ahmad, while the injured were identified as Aqib Ahmad and Tawheed Ahmad, both residents of Janwara.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of this road mishap.
