SRINAGAR: A massive fire broke out in the Rajbagh area of Srinagar on Sunday evening, engulfing at least three residential houses near Usmania Masjid.
Fire started from one residential house and quickly spread to nearby structures. Flames and thick smoke were seen billowing from the area, causing panic among residents.
An official from the Fire and Emergency Services said that the team, assisted by locals, rushed to the spot and were making all efforts to douse the flames.
No injuries or loss of life had been reported. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, the official added.
