SRINAGAR: Authorities in North Kashmir’s Baramulla have imposed precautionary restrictions under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, in parts of Singhpora tehsil, sub-division Pattan, to maintain peace and public order.
According to an official order issued by Additional District Magistrate Baramulla, Syed Altaf Hussain, the restrictions will remain in force from 8:30 PM on July 20 to 9:30 PM on July 21, 2025.
The decision has been taken in view of prevailing circumstances, based on assessment of the ground situation and reports of potential disturbances. The order prohibits any assembly or gathering of four or more persons in the specified areas.
Authorities have appealed to the general public to cooperate and adhere to the restrictions, which have been put in place to ensure safety of life and property and to prevent any untoward incident.
