SRINAGAR: A massive fire broke out on Thursday in a double-storey structure associated with a CRPF bunker at Apollo Lane in the Karanagar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
An official said fire and emergency services rushed to the spot and immediately launched operations to control the blaze. Firefighting teams were engaged in containing the fire and preventing it from spreading to adjoining structures.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage were not immediately known, and no casualties or injuries had been reported at the time of filing this report. (KNC)
