SRINAGAR: A fire broke out at District Hospital Poonch, prompting Fire and Emergency Services personnel and hospital staff to intervene and bring the blaze under control, reports said.
According to the reports, several windows in the rear section of the hospital building were damaged in the incident.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel, with assistance from hospital staff, responded promptly and contained the fire before it could cause major damage.
Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire.
