Fire erupted in Khanyar locality near Shrine of Dastageer Sahib, officials of Fire Services told Kashmir Life.
They said that a residential house was damaged in fire while fire tenders are on way to the spot.

Meanwhile, Old Town Bridge collapsed in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
For the safety of the people, administration has closed the bridge for public movement now. “The bridge had already collapsed in 2014 due to September floods and then the movement over bridge was restricted,” an official from the district administration said.
“The bridge has collapsed and is not safe for pedestrian or vehicular movement,” a junior engineer concerned, Riyaz Ahmad, said.
