Srinagar: Two residential houses were completely gutted in a massive fire incident in Surfraw area in Gund Tehsil of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday.
According to reports, the fire broke out in the residential houses of Abdul Rahman Khatana, son of Goga Khatana and Shabir Ahmad Khatana, son of Abdul Aziz Khatana, at Gujar Pati Surfraw Ganiwan resulting in damage to both the houses.
Soon after the incident, locals with the help of fire and emergency men brought the fire under control. However, an eyewitness said that till the fire was brought under control, it had already damaged both the houses.
