Property worth lacs of rupees was damaged when a fire broke out in three industrial units in an industrial estate in the city outskirts early Friday morning.
Official sources said that fire broke out in a three-storied building housing three industrial units at Zainakote industrial estate, about 10 km from here in the city outskirts.
However, before the fire tenders could reach the spot, the fire spread to the entire building.
An official of Fire and Emergency Service (FES) said that the cause of the fire in the building housing JS Enterprises, High Synthetic and Agro Production, was not known. He said the loss could be estimated at Rs 50 lakh.
