Three fire incidents were reported across valley resulting in partial damage to the property, police said on Thursday.
Due to electric short circuit, fire broke out in the joint residential house of Ghulam Hassan Teli, Ghulam Mohammad Teli and Abdul Rashid Teli sons of Abdul Ahad and Bashir Ahmed Teli son of Late Ghulam Ahmed residents of Telwani Mohalla, Gojwara, Srinagar, resulting in partial damage to the house. However, no loss of life or injury was reported in this incident.
In another incident, fire broke out in a cattle shed of Nazir Ahmed Akhoon son of Ghulam Qadir at Shopri Bugh, Zakoora. The cow shed was damaged completely besides two calves received severe burn injuries.
In another incident, fire broke out in the cowshed of Gulzar Ahmed Shah son-in-law of Ahmed Ali Shah resident of Chandergee, Kulgam. A cow and a calf died due to suffocation and the cow shed got partial damaged.
