Gun shots were heard for few minutes at a village in Baramulla district late Friday evening. Forces have cordoned off the area and search operation was on when the reports last came in.
Local sources told Kashmir Life that many gun shots were heard in Gujarpati (Zaloora) village of Baramulla district.
They said that a patrol party of the Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the state police was in the village when the incident took place.
“Security forces have cordoned off the village and its peripheries and search operation was going on,” they said.
However, there were no reports on any casualty.
