SRINAGAR

The speaker of the assembly Tuesday had to adjourn the house for some time as the opposition PDP members came in the well demanding a discussion on the health care infrastructure in the state.

It was the first adjournment of the house after the ongoing session started last week.

The trouble started when many members wanted to ask supplementary relating to a question about the health care but speaker did not allow them all because of the “shortage of time”.

Members from PDP came in the well and demanded a discussion on the issue.

They raised slogans and alleged that government is not providing better health care services to the people.

When nothing was audible in the house except slogans of the protesting PDP members, the speaker adjourned the house for some time.
