SRINAGAR: All students from the first batch of Kashmiri evacuees stranded in Iran have returned safely to the Kashmir Valley by Friday morning, providing relief to their families.
Faizan Ali, Iran Coordinator of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA), said, “While some students arrived yesterday, the remaining students travelling in deluxe buses from Delhi have also reached today.”
“We are grateful to the Ministry of External Affairs and all those involved in ensuring their safe and timely return. The successful evacuation has brought relief to their families, who were anxiously waiting,” he added. (JKNS)
